Baidu extraction code: where to find it and why it fails

Find the code in the owner's share message

The extraction code comes from the person sharing the file. Check their original message for the code next to the link, or ask them to send it again. PanPull accepts four letters or digits. Some share links include the code in a pwd query parameter; keeping that complete link lets PanPull read the embedded code. Otherwise, enter the code in the separate field on the link checker.

Keep the link and code together. If you fill the separate code field, that value takes priority over a code in the link. Do not enter a different code there by accident.

Check a rejected code once, carefully

Compare the code with the owner's message character by character. Check for a space at either end, a missing character, or characters that look alike. If the owner sent several links, confirm that the code belongs to this particular share. Use the most recent message if the owner replaced the share.

Do not keep trying random codes. Ask the owner to confirm the complete link and its matching code. Never submit your Baidu password or cookies as a substitute for a code.

Distinguish an access problem from an unavailable share

An incorrect code and a removed share need different responses. If the original share itself reports that it has expired or is unavailable, ask the owner to check the source and create a new authorized share if appropriate. PanPull cannot restore deleted files or make an expired share valid. See the unavailable-share checklist.

If the source opens for the owner but PanPull cannot inspect it, retain the exact error message and the time of the attempt. A temporary problem with our download service or the network is also possible; it is not proof that the code is wrong. Use the site's retry option when offered, or contact support with a redacted description. Do not post the private share, code, order access token, or download URL in a public comment.

Review the account and quote before downloading

Register a PanPull account with an email address and password, or sign in to your existing account. This is separate from a Baidu account. Confirm the total size and server quote before creating an order. Check the free allowance and size limits on the pricing page.

Use only files you own or have the share owner's permission to access. PanPull cannot bypass an extraction code; a code does not itself grant permission to redistribute a file.
